Repairs to War Memorial:  The War Memorial in St. Mary's Churchyard is in need of renovation.  If you would like to make a contribution to the £330 cost of repairs, please contact Maureen and Grahame Peerless 01304 840557.  Cheques should be made payable to Nonington PCC.
 
Firework Fantasy:  This year's event will take place at the cricket ground on Saturday September 19 starting at 4pm.  A limited number of pitches are available for local groups, charities and individuals. Please contact Pauline Catterall on 01304 841332 or 840048 for more information and a booking form. 
 
 
Sponsored Bike Ride:  The annual bike ride around Kent's Churches is on Saturday September 12.  Sponsorship forms will be available from Doreen Dabbs 01304 841608 or Stephanie Orridge 01304 841221. All riders can specify the church or chapel that they wish to support with their sponsor money.  St. Mary's Church and the Baptist Chapel will be open as will most other Churches in the area. The event raised over £147,000 last year for Friends of Kent Churches.   
 
Library Dates:  The mobile library will be outside the Royal Oak from 10.35am - 11am on Tuesday 8th September.
 
 
 
School Holidays:  School breaks up on Friday 17th July for the summer holiday, returning Monday 7th September.
